Over a thousand years ago, a three-way battle between the forces of the Republic, the Mandalorians, and the Sith tore through a sector of space near the Outer Rim. Terrible weapons were unleashed, and the entire Soort Cloud was ravaged. Massive fields of debris, unstable hyperspace routes, spatial distortions, and ancient self-aware war machines make the area hard to enter, and harder to escape. But rumours of great treasures lost within the Cloud still draw in some explorers.
